If you have decided that a vent or sensor (or both) would be better served if installed another room, Ecovent gives you the flexibility to pair them elsewhere. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the device(s) from its currently assigned room
Open Ecovent App menu
Open System Settings
Open Add Room option to go into Room Setup page
Tap the room icon that the device is currently assigned to
Under "Devices" section, disconnect the intended device(s) (*note: Device ID can be found on label attached to device; see photo attachment)
Finish Room Setup and exit out of page
2. Add device to new intended room
Open the setup page of the room you want to install the device(s)
Under "Devices" section, press the "Add Sensor" or "Add Vent" depending on which device you are trying to add to the room
The app will walk you through the normal pairing process
Finish Room Setup
3. Complete
On the Room Setup page, tap "Done With Room Setup" button
Choose "Start Ecovent" option
