Smart Vents currently come in four sizes: 4x10, 4x12, 6x10 and 6x12. It's worth noting that the sizes are nominal, and that our vents can fit ducts up to half an inch larger or smaller than what's listed (for example, a 4.5x10.5 duct opening can fit our 4x10 Smart Vent). You can find more in-depth measurements for our vent sizes below.

To get started, you'll need a screwdriver, tape measure, and a stool (for ceiling installations). For reference, you'll want to measure the length and height of the actual duct opening, not the existing grill. We put together this short video demonstrating how to measure correctly:
